Each week, Q-3PO started a thread for you to share game tips with fellow players. Tuesday Tips will continue on with that tradition so be sure to join in and add your helpful tip. Do you have a little known command you use all the time? A cool place to visit? A trick (non-exploit) to getting more out of the game? Share it here.
To get things started:
Keeping Pet Rodents Alive and Well
Hamsters are the life blood of the Star Wars: Galaxies servers. They surround us, penetrate us, they bind the galaxies together. Improper care of this most important of rodents will, at best, tire the little wee beasty out and produce erratic performance from the galaxy clusters. At worst, our furry friends will expire. Cease to be. Become an ex-hamster, and this will bring your gaming experience to a grinding halt.
Here are a couple of tips to get the best out of your critter:
1) Always ensure that your hamster is well fed and rested. It is hard work for the poor little fuzzball running on his wheel all day long, pandering to the demands of blood-thirsty galactic slave girls and tyrannical uber-gnorts. Give the little guy a break once in a while and juice him up on some tasty sunflower seeds. He'll thank you for it in the long run.
2) Keep your hamsters' wheel well-oiled and in good repair. I find a can of WD-40 works wonders when applied sparingly once per day. In the absence of this mechanical cure-all, a liberal application of margarine to the bearings works just as well.
3) Always keep a ready supply of spare hamsters to hand and make sure they are cocked, locked and ready to rock. An insufficient supply of hamster and hamster fodder may mean that the emergency gerbil has to come in to play. No-one wants a case of "Armageddon" on there hands, especially busy devs.
Remember, look after your hamster and your hamster will look after you!

Love the hamster! Little dabs of peanut butter are nice too, and don't forget a nice 'friend' for those serverdown times...

I sense a hidden message, and man it's a funny one! Now, where are those darn paper towel rolls...
