So, myself and a couple of friends are newly back to the game. We're all just a little passed novice in our first elite combat professions. What are some missions or places we can go and hopefully survive? We've been out to Fort Tusken and enjoyed it.

I was thinking we should do the Jabba missions, but we needed to do the Valarian missions first. Turns out you need 250 Valarian faction points, which I didn't know how to get. So if there's a requirement for doing what you suggest, could you please list what it is.

If it helps, we're a pikeman, a pistoleer, and a TK.

I'm just looking to make the grind a little less of a grind. Some XP would be nice, as would some Imperial faction points and some credits, but we're willing to miss out on any/all of these to do something fun. Thanks for any input.

There's a lot of old and new things to do.

But first, in order to get the 250 Valarian fps, the easiest way is to camp the Jabba Thug/Swooper spawns in Mos Eisley, around the back side of the cantina and nearby.

Other and newer things to do are the new quests given out by Lt. Jevan something-or-other that you read about on the loading screens.... go see him in the Bestine Cantina. Or the droid in the Tyrena Cantina, if you're a Rebel. They start up some new and kinda fun quests, for people of your level. Might want to take a group of two or more Nov Elite professions, though, the Black Suns spawn 4 or 5 at a time, with 5-7K HAM each, and you get 3 wave of them one right after the other.

Then of course there's the Warren, the Corvette, and countless other POI dungeons to do... you'll keep busy until Combat Upgrade comes out, at least.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

I think a really fun thing to do would be the Hero of Tatooine quest. The reward for it is a ring that lets you resusicitate yourself 50 times and the overall story is good. Great experience points too. Look for the guide on this forum, the quest begins in the Squill Caves near 0,0 Tat.

It is fun, for those masochists who like running around in the desert for weeks on end looking for the pirates for one part, and the moisture farmer for another part.

And you don't have to go to the bottom of the Squill caves to *start* it... just start doing the different quests. Then you do have to go there to end it, so the old man gives you the Hero of Tatooine Badge and the Rezzing ring.
