Thread: Where would i ask help on getting the instructions to running 2 instances of the game?

open your options.cfg file and add

[SwgClient]

allowMultipleInstances=true



you can copy and paste it.Once done save and make it read only

The purpose would be if you have two accounts and once PC.


You can log them both on, alt-tab, you're character A, alt-tab again, you're character B.


Comes in handy.

No, you need to have 2 swg accounts.

you also need a fast computer, because running 2 accounts lags the hell outta your computer.

As an FYI, this works best if you have 2 gig of RAM. With one gig I seem to reach a state of permalag after running two sessions for about an hour. Trashes my PC to the point where I need to reboot. The lag from two sessions with one gig ofRAMis comparable to being in the MO continuously...
