Finally was around when Luke landed in C-net and got the 3rd mission from him to kill 5 Imperial Special Forces. Checked most of the POI's I could think of and Ahazi is mostly rebel run except for Tat, so seems to be only the "desert stormtrooper" variety in the cities there.

Anybody else done this mission and have any idea of where to find them?

UPDATE: Confirmed I took the wrong mission type by mistake. Mission description reads "this is what it takes to prove I can be a member of the rebel special forces" DANG!

they usally spawn on naboo in a large group patroling . Problem is their spawn is random and can either come in two ways one you see a lamba shuttle land and drop off troopers( this isnt an event perk or a dev its a how they spawn) or just appear out of thin area. They usally dont go near cities unless someone leads them to a city. Other then that they are wondering the planet.

Doesnt Imperial Special forces mean Overt Imperial Players?

I'm probably wrong but I heard one of the mission involves killing SF players

Yes The Special Forces Missions means to kill 5 sf players...when im not wrong there are 3 following missions. At the last mission u have to kill about 50 sf players and i dont know how long that would take nowadays cause the overt pvp times are over for long now.

I have only done the first quest and killed 5 overt players and i think the next step killing 10 then 20 or 30 is not possible atm.

Anyway the rewards are nice one shall be a medal and some other thingys... get some friends together maybe a whole guild and pay them to go overt and let u kill em.

Its the only way i think.

Well I'm not sure. Luke specifically asks if I want combatant or special forces missions. Pretty sure I chose combatant, so then he tells me to kill 5 imperial spcial forces, which I assume are NPC. Maybe I goofed up, anybody take the alternate 3rd level missions?

you have to kill overt players. no such NPC as Imperial Special Forces. Trust me.

This is what you do, they are a moving dynamin spawn, mostly there level 80, and nearly always jedi.

For imperial: Go to recruiter and go special forces. Then go to these in order: Dant MO, Coro, Mos Eisely.

For Rebel: Same as above.

In large groups they can be hard to solo, but with practice, you should be able to kill them.

Which quest is this for?
