Thread: will someone please teach me the tau of the clickey?

Here's what I do:
Create a post, and click the 'Edit as HTML' option .
Type your messge, entering your clicky as follows:
<a href="http://www.yourclicky.com">Text of the Link</a>
I've noticed that if you preview your post, the clicky shows up in the Preview, but not in
the confirmed post... so avoid using the preview, and just Submit.
(or if you really want to preview, leave out the html above, preview, re-edit in the html, then Submit straight away)

says it all in the title. for the life of me I can't seem to figure the damn thing out.... and the guide to the sticky in this forum seems to be wrong.
also, I would like to know where you learned this mystical skill also.
