Need help to start the Rescue Wookiee mission on the Avatar Platform.

So far I've only seen how to do the Imperial and the Zssik clan fighting
the blackscales. Anyone out there knows who to talk to, to initiate
the Wookiee one?

I dunno about a rescue wook mission but there is a third mission available only after you complete the zissk clan mission. you get the mission from an npc in kachirho she tells you to find 5 substances on the avatar and return them to her & you get paid 10k the mission repeats forever

Are you maybe thinking of the wookiees in cells that can be
freed on the Avatar? If so, that can be done as a side quest
whenever you go up there.

From TH's Friday feature:

This space adventure area is mission based which you join in the midst of a Wookiee revolt. You can join in the revolt to help free the wookiees from their Trandoshan slavers or help the Zssik Clan sabotage the Blackscales. Additionally, the Empire is has some suspicions about activities on the station that they want investigated and they are calling on Imperial pilots to do so. No matter what your goal is, a visit to the Avatar Space Platform is bound to be a fun and exciting trip!

But I guess the "free the wookiees" part is not a separate quest by itself, but as you say a side quest.
