If you have the quest it will automatically remove their jaws for you.

Make sure you're killing the right thing

I have been out killing Cannibal Dewbacks and my quest journal has not been updating. After killing them I see no option to remove their Jaw for evidence. Can someone tell me what I am not doing? thanks.

... and make sure your quest is still in the datapad.
