Thread: Cries of Alderaan Act 3 Mission 3 Rebel... bugged??

After my third attempt at finishing the last mission for the Cries of Alderaan badge, I decided I would post...
I'm having a difficult time finishing this mission. The first time I got a waypoint from the coordinator, I went and talked to Princess Leia. Afterwards I proceeded to the rebel base and killed a few attacking imps. Once I killed the imps, the waypoints disappeared (including Leia's) and nobody had anything interesting to say, so I just headed back to the coordinator. The coordinator asked me why I hadn't gone to the waypoint, and if I needed a new one. So, I travelled back to Dath, and....nothing. So, a little annoyed, I proceeded back to the coordinator and got a new waypoint. NOW when I travel to Leia's waypoint she's not even there!! I've done this three times now, and all three lead me to an empty waypoint!
Has anyone else had this trouble?? HELP!!!

I'm 90% sure you can't do the act 3 missions any more. For a while you could finish it, and just have your work not count towards the total so see what side won the act, but I think after the droid publish the devs took out any way you could do act 3, which explains your trouble.

I believe you can still complete the mission to obtain the badge. I did so two weeks ago.
To the original poster: I'm not sure why the waypoint to Princess Leia is empty. It was my understanding that these waypoints never, changed as I've stumbled across a few of her camps while on Yavin and Dath. I can tell you however, that if you are able to find her again and reset the mission, you must hang around the base awhile to get the badge. The stormtroopers attack in four waves, each progressively harder. You must keep them from destroying the base each time. After you finish off one wave, the next will attack in 3-4 minutes. I thought it was bugged also. After finishing off the fourth wave, I waited around for like ten minutes and nothing happened (no more attacks and no badge). I decided that I would go see Leia again to see if I did something wrong. As soon as I hopped on my bike and started leaving the base, I got the message saying that the mission was complete and I received the badge.

I had this problem a long time ago. Make sure you're going to the same coordinator as you started with. For some reason this fixed it for me. I was too lazy to go back to Talus and took the mission from coronet. Each time the waypoint to Leia would disappear right before I got to it. I went back to original coordinator and got mission fr Yavin (easier) and it worked.

Did it tonight and got the badge so it definitely works 
Mine was reb, same as yours, but mine was on Yavin. Basically as one poster has said I got 3 or 4 waves of imps then nothing for like 10 minutes. During the intervals I killed stuff surrounding the base. There happened to be some stranded imp guys I wailed on while waiting. Again, I was walking aropund thinking about going to see Leia when all of a sudden it chimed and said I had completed it and got the badge! BTW I always made a waypoint of where Leia and other imp points where coz the computer deletes the one in your datapad after reaching it for some reason.

I also just completed to test this... (never got around to doing it when it was the thing to do)
yes you must wait 10-11 mins at the base that you killed the 4 waves of imps. I walked away after killing them the first time and i did not recive a badge. Then I had to go back and do it all over again. Then I waited there and got the badge.
