Thread: Petting Pets..what happen to this special?

Being a Creature Handler a long time I have had to go through may changes. The most resent one may not be a big thing for may of you but it is to me and my friends.
I don't remember which patch it was...it seems to be 4-6 months ago but the dev team put in that when you /pet a pet they would do different tricks. Many of the pets even did more that one trick. Now this was very neet to me because it gave CH more to play with. More tricks that just than just the2 trick commands. And I have found out that it's alot of fun RPing when one of my pets goes up to a girl and it would do a trick when she would pet them. Everyone at a P.A. party or in the cantina would get a kick out of it...well, most people would anyways (i'm sorry to those who don't like it).
Devs...please bring back the petting tricks that the pets did before this last patch. I could tell that alot of work was put into it to get the pets to do all of that, and it is alot of fun.
Oh...I also noticed that the pets don't meow, roar, ect when I ask them to 'stay' anymore as well. I would also like to ask if that could be put that back in too please.

Yeah, I just noticed tonight /pet doesn't work for extra tricks anymore, but noticed sombody using /hug to get same effect. I couldn't get it to work but you may have better luck ...

When I would do /pet my animal would just lay down (go prone)

I was able to fix the /pet emotes, so /pethigh /petlow and /pet all work (and play an animation), and the pet will respond to it again. That'll be in the next publish.
