ranged...hands down Rifleman/Doc can deal out large amounts of dmg and keep yourself healed from DOTs. if your server doesnt have alot of dots around go without doc and add a melee prof like tka or fencer.

otherwise i'd second the above, rifleman.

I would say Master Rifleman/Master TK/4000 Fencer and as much medic as you can...

IMO ranged fighting goes to a couple templates. The rifle/tkm/medic is one. The one I have come up with is Mcarb/BH0440/Pistol 4043. Decent defenses, caped speed on both carb and pistol, decent pistol acc, EXCELLENT carb acc. Good AE shots in both gun types, wide range of dmg type and HAM pool selection. Some crowd controll, both AE and single target. Not to mention it is a VERY fun template to play IMO.

Rifleman/Pike/Medic Utilize the Dots. Find a nice NS lance with mind poison. Take that along with a nice Jawa, and you are a killing machiene. But really the Jedi is becoming essential for PVP, it is really changing the game.

To these people suguesting about building a template based on DoT drop weapons might be a somewhat short lived tactic. The dot on these weaps are one of the things 'in question' when it comes to the legendary combat balance.

And if you look hard enough, there are good DoT ranged weapons to be had. And with Mcarb, BH, and pistoleer skills you are certed for most of the ones that can be found. Granted the DoT lanced and melee weaps do seem to be ALOT more common/less expensive.

Changing? Don't you mean ruining? This game is turning into KOTOR.
