Like the title says: looking for info on how to start the varactyl quest for master Creature Handlers - Riz

head to teh rodian hunter camp theres a guy(not sure about name), he has a varactyl next to him. he will give you a quest to kill a big lvl 65 elite varactyl. you kill and open her nest, you will recieve an egg, open the egg and you will have yourself a baby lvl6(65) varactyl
the big mamma and her nest spawn farther in the woods, youll know your in the right area when you see alot of other varactyl(not sure exact loaction sorry)

The Rodian Hunter's Camp is a POI. It's on top-level Kashyyk, so jsut open the POI menu when you fly in. Once yo uget there, talk to the guy with the Varactyl next to him (he'll only speak with you if you're MCH). It is NOT the person that asks you to kill a number of creatures. He will tell you to kill ONE varactyl, and mention that varactyl by name (sorry, can't remember name). When you take the mission, open the planetary map. See the river running through the middle of Kashyyk? Follow it from left to right. Near the end there should be a place where it's banks open into a wide space that is set off a ways from the river. In that little area you'll find the varactyl you're supposed to kill (that varactyl is only level 54 I believe). After you kill her, run to the hill behind her. There should be a nest. Bring up a radial menu, yada yada yada. You should be able to get it from there. I'm waiting on mine to grow

The varactyl is named Jagged Fang. She is a level 50 something but a tough kill nonetheless. Head north from the quest giver and take a right into the cul-de-sac just before the river. The area is full of other types of varactyls and the nest is in the back. You can't use the radial dial on the eggs with any success until after Jagged spawns and you kill her. After you do, you can use the radial and an egg shows up in your inventory.
No need to go back and speak to the NPC...he will just give a brush-off reply, so the quest is a one time deal
