You have to back-track to the room with the river running through it.

You will see small Red crystals on the floor, pop up their radial menu and select "Use"

Then return to the droid, and prepare for a big fight.

my group sprinted through the caves and got themselves killed, was getting late. I was able to kill 2 that were looming and made my way up to the droid. I would be halfway tempted to continue on to Necro if it wasnt for his 2 buddies. I have a pretty mean snare/elecro & paralize Kite i do that i feel pretty confident about but just decided to portal out. thanks for the info though, get it on the way through next time.
