I am sorry about this I am sure that this info is somewhere in the game. I have looked in the holocron and I don't know where to look to learn how to place vendors and how to set up businesses. The only way I have tried to do it requires me to run from my energy extractors to my mineral extractors then to a factory and after that I get stuck because I don't know how to place a vendor to sell my stuff. I hope that someone can help me with this.
I have tried looking in the forums and I don't seem to be able to find the right thread. Please help me out with this.
(sorry if this seems rushed. I am on a breakfast break and I need to go back to work in a few.)
Thank you very much.

Get required skill on artisan or go up to merchant then go to terminal inyour house (may have to be public) and it is one of the radial options.

just to clarify, yes your structure has to be public. from the structure's terminal you can add the vendor (options of vendor types appear in a window), it gets put in your inventory, you drop it where you want (stand where you want it, then drop it, it cannot be moved like furniture but it can be rotated).. from the vendor menus once it's placed, you must initialize it. 1. Requires business 3 in artisan skill tree. This will allow you to place a big clunky terminal vendor, not NPC vendors. I believe Novice merchant is required to place NPC vendors.
2. Be on the admin of a public structure, house, cantina, PA hall...
3. Go to the structure management terminal. Select create vendor. During this process it will ask you what kind of vendor, if you have the skill for different types, and what you want to name it.
4. The vendor is now in your backpack. Go to the exact spot you want to drop the vendor and drop it. You can't move vendors, only rotate them.
5. Initialize the vendor (make sure it is facing the right direction, you can't rotate it once it is initialzed.
6. Put some maintenance in it.
7. Stock it.

just a warning to anyone starting the whole vendor track.
vendros as of publish 11 are bugged and you can not alter the orientation of the vendor once its dropped. some bug with permissions on the rotation command. i've had confirmation from a CSR that the devs know about it and are working on a fix.

1 thing.
It doesn't have to be your house, just one you have admin for (i.e a friends).
