Can i do them once per wookie location or once per character ?

I don't know if wookies are any different, but as zabrack I went to a celebration on Dathomir, chatted up the wookies and got a painting from the Elder. I tagged along with someone else to check out a celebration on Endor. The wookies all talked to me and asked if I wanted to hear their story again. They all knew I had heard from their brothers and they didn't have another painting to spare for me.

In short you can do the quests as many times as you want but you will only receive one gift.
