Thread: Is there a way to stop items from spinning in the inventory?

Just wondering because I bet the spinning eats up memory that could be used for other things. Or at least make it so that I stop getting the radial menu while trying to move items around.

Yes there is, it is in the options menu (cntrl o), and under interface (not sure) but the option is called allow object rotation, and just uncheck it.

I wouldn't do it if I were you.
I tried it before because I hate the spinning, thinking it would just display the items from their frontal position... But no, it just freezes them, litteraly. If they are half way through turning, the item will show like that.
And on my old PC I thought it might make it not lag when my inventory first pops up, but no it doesn't. It actually felt like there was more lag.
