A couple possibilities:

1) (most likely, IMO): You already have an active Space mission in your datapad. Abort that mission, and check the station again.

2) The Jabba palace story mission is randomly spawned at the station, so it's not always available. Keep checking back.

I've got a neutral Smuggler's Alliance pilot on one server, with all my tier 2 boxes complete. Supposedly the Tatooine space station will give me a quest which will allow me access to Jabba's Palace, to see my tier 3 trainer? All I get from the station when I ask for work is a "What do you think this is, an unemployment agency?" If anyone can shed some light on this for me it'd be greatly appreciated.

I've heard that you cant get in unless you did the Jabba's Palace Themepark. Then I heard that they put the smuggler pilot out front so people who havent done it could get in but that he might be bugged.

I did the theme park myself. Doesn't take too long, you get a badge, and some loot!

Does anyone have any additional details on this quest? Like how can you tell when the quest will be available?

Ok, I'm getting conflicting information here

As I understand it the purpose of this quest is to give Smuggler Alliance Pilots access to Jabba's palace (where their tier 3 trainer is) without requiring them to complate Jabba's Themepark (since some players are non-combat on the ground, making the themepark a little hard).

Has anyone actually done this? By that I mean, gain access to Jabba's where previously they could not enter by doing a space mission.

If so: Who was the mission received from? The tatooine space station, or the pilot in front of Jabba's palace door.

One detail I find interesting is that any Smugglers Alliance Pilot can land near Jabba's, but they don't seem to really do anything to earn that right.

Right in front of Jabbas Palace is a Smuggler Pilot. You speak to him to gain enterance. Not usre if you have to run a mission for him, but he will grant you admission in some way.

I had to get Jabba FP.

Just AFK macroed a Valarian spawn in Eisley for about an hour.

Then I did the whole theme park, wihich sucked becaused I did it 3x before! Once on alt before change, again on alt after change and then once on Jedi. So 4x!

Also, it is better to do the theme park for the badge if you want to get FS.
