Thread: Where do I go to find out why I should care?
How hard would it have been for SOE to get on the forums first thing today, realize the absurd mistake they had made, and apologized? Or at least have said "We are looking into it."
I mean really, how difficult would it have been to do that? Thunderheart? Holocron? JustG? I'm not trying to flame here, I geniuinely would like to know.

Which mistake?
Banning craploads of people who received duped credits through no fault of their own.

But certainly they could have come on and said "We mistakenly banned some people (that much is CLEARLY obvious at this point) and we are investigating the issue, sorry for the inconvenience."
We haven't even gotten that though, and I'm perplexed as to why. Posts on these boards complaining have been deleted, and I'm perplexed as to why. Messages that were not particularly flammatory have been edited by mods, replaced by their own assinine advice of contacting SOE via email, and again, I'm perplexed as to why.

I'm dead serious. I thought I'd play this game forever, it has infinate potential, but when SOE continues to treat it's customers like **edit**, more and more I find myself asking why I should continue to pay and care. As a paying customer, I'd like to know who can address my question to, or where to go to find someone who can address my question. Does anyone know? Is there a place to address concerns/grievances such as these? Garva? Is it official policy that there is no recourse?

i have to agree completely, the customers who have been banned due to being a recipient of duped credits unknowingly deserve some sort of consideration from SOE,at least look more carefully at the accounts that were banned.i also agree that in good PR interest a statement from SOE should be issued to clarify at the minimum to say "we're looking into it".please someone at SOE address this issue promptly before more innocents are persecuted.

They were too **edit**ing lazy to do any sort of investigation, ran a script without testing it...unsurprisingly..., left for home, and now they'rehaving meetings about meetings about meetings about who is the luckya-hole that gets to take the flak this time. That's why they haven't responded. The chain of corporate meetings has probably barely started. This is seriously one of the worst public relations disasters I've ever seen. Ever. I have to say, this is the first time I've been embarassed for the devs.I just PM'ed you my contact info, meeuki. My time here is limited now.
that is *exactly* what is going on.

I imagine at this stage they're at the meeting where they talk about what's going to be for lunch at the next meeting.
