The Launch pad says "Please be careful and REFUSE receiving any large sums of money/credits from anyone."
How do you refuse credits from a tip or vendor sale?
I can't find the command anywhere. :/
What if a duper buys my stuff or tips me out of spite?
I am not going to tip them to SOE-Collector if I get any I supsect, as I heard that gets you 'banned for investigation purposes.' I'm not paying $30 a month to be banned.
I just want to play the game and not have to worry about it's insecurities.
So, tell me how to REFUSE credits, please.
Should I just hide in my house and shut all my vendors down?
Doesn't sound like much fun to me....

no one knows what in the hell they are talking about. thats why merchants and auctioneers on the forums are kinda scared. sounds to most like soes attitude to this is, "ban them all sort it out later ... if we want". i also run a vendor and sell some high end loots over the mill credit mark, how in the hell do i know if the person who buys from my vendor duped his credits or not?

If your selling items via a vendor you dont have anything to worry about, any large sum of money transfers they can see if its via a vendor sale or trade window or /tip.

If someone tips you an insane amount of credits for no apparent reason, you are supposed to take the appropriate measures to report it and tip the credits to SOE-Collector, minus 5% for the bank fee you will incur.
Doing what the CSRs have told you to doWILL result in being banned or suspended, and we have no idea how long you'll be suspended for.
If you receive duped credits, just get on with your game-life and use them as you normally would. Reporting it will get you kicked out of this game (yes, even as an innocent party who wants to help the authorities), and I'm almost positive that they can't or aren't tracking the credits unless someone volunteers the information.

Do tip SOE-Collector if you get suspicious creditsunless you want to get banned. Once you've tipped them do a /report and leave it at that. If they (SOE / CSR's) have concerns, they'll let you know. The amounts that they've been talking about seem to be fairly large, in the 1/2 million + range so dancers tips, smugglers selling fp etc. don't seem to be caught in the net.
I wouldn't play in fear of this but i wouldn't ignore the reality of the situation either.
