Thread: Nym's quest
Hello everyone. Today i attempted to do Nym's Quest. He first sends you to his friend Jankkins ( or something like that). Jankkins sends you to the Droid cave. I really enjoyed the droid cave even if it was kind of easy. When i came back Jankkins sends me to the other Nym's friend, forgot his name, who send you to a mine "full of blood thirsty miners and imperial attack droids". But when you get to the mine it is complety empty, there is no one to kill. You can just walk inside all the way to the buttom and get your objective and then walk out. When you come back they finally send you to Nym. He send you to an Imperial Reseach lab he gives you the wp to but the wp is of the cantina in his own stronghold. I am wondering if someone has found the research lab if it is even in the game. I wondered all over lok looking for it and never found it. I would like to ask the devs to fix this quest please if they are broken. Thanks for your time to read this.

And the most likely reason that the second cave was totally empty was that I got there first!
When I went there there were a lot of Crazed Miners, and killed them. About the same difficulty as the sulphur cave.You didn't miss much.hehe.
When i got there there were miners, but not in the cave. For some reason every single miner wars teleported to the surface. And since they were behind the entrance and i came from the front of the entrance i did not had to fight any of them. Btw, the same thing happen to my pet. When i came in to the mine it was teleported to the surface. But thanks for posting. If i everfind the wp i will post it here.
I did the first one, even as buggy as it was for me when it first came out.. all of the pirates were spawning on top of each other as fast as I could kill them as a master BH!LOL, got swarmed but 300 pirates all the time. Finally ran past all of them to a safe place and unlocked the terminal and then the droid wouldn't give me the astromech piece! Argh, waited in there for 2 days for them to fix that then went to the next mission...
The next mission was fine, the miners were in their cave and all so easy to kill, got the filter and came back.
The next mission about the imperial base sent me to the Cantina as well. This is to talk to the NPC who is supposed to tell you about it, how to get in, and where to go... unfortunately, it doesn't give you anew waypoint.. I logged on to the Test Centre, says they fixed that on their log update, so it should be fixed soon everywhere else.
Go to 912 -4167. This is the imperial research facility Nym wants you to raid. Bring a friend or a major pet or two. There are four rooms FULL of aggro NPCs who individually are wimps, but if they all hit you at the same time you're screwed. When I say full I mean like 30-40 per room or more. It was best to send a pet in and then call him back to lure a few out at a time. Otherwise: Goodnight Irene! By the way, this is on the Flurry server, I don't know if it's the same for others. Oh yeah, you may want to clone at the ImperialOutpost located at -1845 -3042 before you go in.
Don't forget to find the hard drive and grenade casings while you're running around the research facility. They are NOT on NPCs but in containers! I won't mention your reward unless you REALLY, REALLY want to know.
Ok, you asked for it. I don't remember the exact words, but Nym basically tells you that you are now welcome in his place, and to not make any trouble.

Hardly seems worth it. Maybe in the future new missions will open up here for those who have completed these wastes of time!

Can someone please gove me the WP to the first objective in the quest? I talked to the retired engineer but he dosn't tell me where to go. Please help me out.
Nym's Quest *is* completable.
I finished the 3rd and final mission the other night.
Needless to say, the final item you get is AWESOME!
I won't spoil it for you all though. But I'm really glad I did it.
Yes, the final "Research Lab" is buggy and laggy as heck. Literally thousands of mobs all clumped together.
I think I was saved because I was so laggy, I think the server was a bit sticky, nothing aggro'd to me, so I walked right through.
WOOHOO!!!! Cool item.
Oh, and the grenades... they're in the room that's err... hard to explain. If you are looking at the map the way it looks when you first walk in the door.... it's the first room on the RIGHT (top right corner of screen sorta middle...) that is DOWNSTAIRS. Usually a HUGE mob hanging in the area.
BTW - If you've completed the missions since the last patch, CHECK YOUR INVENTORY. You have a new, cool little weapon.
