Thread: Village crafting quest mission failed?

Hi there,
Was hoping, someone, anyone knows something about this quest and the bugs in it. Basically, I went and got the quest, crafted up three items and handed them in. I then had to log out in order to do real life stuff. When I came back, the mission was gone from my crystal and I had "mission failed" on my screen.
I'd heard that others were having problems with the quest, so I went back to the village and handed in another item to see if it was accepted. It was. "You only need to hand in 6 more items...". I've handed in about 13 now, in total, but I'm really wondering if I should believe the droid that tells me I've done so or if I should believe the screen text that says I've failed.
From what I gather, we cannot unlock our new skill until the village re-phases, so I really am wondering if I should keep handing in for the challenge of it, or if I should cut my losses now and wait two months until we get back in this phase?
Has anyone handed in their 10 items in one go and can confirm that they successfully unlocked the skill?
I tried asking a CSR, but unfortunately they have very little info and can't really say if I am still in the running or not. Some sort of info would be very much appreciated, even if it's a sarcastic link to a post with answers to all my questions. (I searched and found nothing).
