Was wondering if anyone can tell me what good professions are for pvp. I left the game about 3 months ago. Are melee professions stacked still the way to go?

Hehe, go get yourself a Rifle and a Sword with some Medic skills and you'll be near the top of the game.

Not anymore. With Master Brawler / Master Swordsman / Combat Prowess 0004 (a Force Sensitive thing), you are unbelieveably near speed cap. The 0004 Prowess adds +12 to melee speed.
