well it's been nerfed so now it's nearly useless and creates more lag, with the fix if you're vendor is empty 14 days it is deleted now they have 100 days before it is deleted. well thasnks for the nerf to a decent fix devs bravo

I agree, Alot of the fixes were good, But ruined by patches that changed the patches

I feel I must interject here and clarify your lack of understanding:
Under the original patch the following was TRUE:
- Vendors that are empty are removed from the planetary map
- Vendors that remained empty for 14 days are deleted
- Vendors that have not been active (i.e. no sales, NEW items listed) for 14 days are flagged as inactive.
- Vendors flagged as inactive send an email to their owners that they risk deletion
- Vendors flagged as inactive for 30 days are then delete (even if full of maintenace AND items)
Under the most rencent patch (10.3) the following is TRUE:
- Vendors that are empty are removed from the planetary map
- Vendors that remained empty for 14 days are deleted
- Vendors that have not been active (i.e. no sales, NEW items listed) for 100 days are deleted.
This was changed because of the merchant community feedback (read: uproar) on being penalized for spreading their wares across mutiple vendors, thus affecting the sales timer for losing vendors.
Example: Joe used to sell all his items on one vendor. He gets more that one sale every two weeks so doesn't have to worry about losing his vendor.
Along comes Publish 10. Joe now gets extra vendors to work with. To make his customers shopping experience easier, he catagorizes his different items per vendor. Now all his high-end loot items are on just ONE vendor by themselves. If no one wishes to purchase ANY of the items on the loot items on his vendor for 30 days, he looses that vendor and EVERYTHING on it.
Too bad Joe just relisted everything for thirty days and took a month long vacation to Britain. He knew the stockroom would be filled with the items that didn't sell upon his return, but under the new (pre 10.3) system, he can't take a vaction longer that two weeks without fear of losing everything.
Understand the change now????
Cheers
