I'm not sure about it myself, but I've heard that it goes by the amount of time you've been registered in the forums and have a certain amount of posts. I guess 100 post and probably 6 months or more as a registered forum user. Again, not sure, it may be something else involved with it as well.

actually it's only five months, we had a guy on GAT yesterday under 6 months and got to 100 posts and boom, veteran.
