Welp, i just feel like venting lol... I quit shortly after pub10 went live... Now im back and i see so much has changed... More bugs, solo groups got nerfed, lots of people that i use to play with quit do to the same reason... (the crazy "how to become a jedi" revamp, bugs, constant problems and trouble with the game) but anyway, enough of that... Can someone tell me the GOOD changes since pub 10 that has happened? Aswell as: Is JTL worth buying? Whats so great about it? I just felt like i would ask before i went out and wasted more money

A lot has changed. I wouldn't buy JTL myself, I haven't and I'm fine with paying for the shuttle fee. About the best thing about JTL is gettting to places faster via hyperspace, umm...otherwise its a waste of 30 bucks, you can lvl to Master in a week.

Um, for the ground game, I'm not sure I can give a good example. I"m sure something will come to me.....probably not =(

I'm on the other side of the fence. I think JTL is fantastic. When I don't feel like running around on the ground, I hop in my ship and go cruising. And I love my yacht. I think Space is very cool and worth the 30 bucks for sure. And I also recommend a joystick.

As for the ground, I can think of nothing at the moment. You might just browse the patch notes and see if anything looks neat to you.

We have had a lot of things taken away from us since 10, I am still trying to think of something great.....

The JTL expansion provides a few core emlements to the main build of the game. SWG always seemed a little odd to me that there lackeda capability ofadventuringin space. The space shooter adds appeal to some players while space travelopens up a host of opportunities for future content and the new method of planetary travel frees upALOT ofexcessive time we would waste while planet hopping.

JTLwas required to assist SWG in becoming a quality product while assuring that the players and the fans recieve what they deservein a title carrying the StarWars name. Wether it's worth the money is really up to each individual. As for me, I'm not dissapointed that I spent 30 dollars on it. Heck, I can spend 30 dollars on a few drinks and some shushi so it's not that big of a deal.

The one solid benefit from JTL is the increased play time from being allowed to travel to ANY starport from ANY starport without having to load at everysingle place inbetween. This was a HUGE frustration ever since I first playedSWG. I've always dreaded traveling to Yavin4 from Lok and now it's only a one shot 2 minute loadif I have no lag. Heh, to think I would beloading through any lag into Theed then prefereably load intoa city other then Coronet on Corelia before I was even able to hit Yavin4 was absolutely dreadful. I hated spending an average 30-40 minutes to make this or a similar route....and that was only one way!. Now that same one way trip isabout three minutes!!!

So, is JTL worth acquring? I would have to say yes. Should we have been required to purchase an element of the game that should have been implemented in the core ofSWG? No. And should I have been required to spend 30 dollars on a "travelling" feature that reduces an unecesarry waste of game time? Hell NO! Am I dissiapointed in purchasing JTL? Absolutely not!

I played the JTL portion of the game for 3 days and got a real kick out of it. Since then I've only loaded into space to fly my Type2Kimo one time. The new races are kinda cool and there's nothing more intresting then attmepting to figure out how that Ithorian is playing a flute when their mouths are on the sides of their necks.

If you like playing SWG you would defintely benefit from JTL even if you think the space portion is not for you.

And what since Pub10 you say.....off-hand I cant say other then there's a few missions for force grinders that deserver everones attention. [Theseshould also be damandingattention from theDEVs for there's a plethora of opportunities in these types of missions.] These missions are AWESOME and do a tremendous job in challengingplayers to use intelligence and tactics other then spaming their prefered attack. I would expect to see alot more missions in the future that are built with the same difficulty. [A good thread if it hasn't already been postedshould be "What's the most damage a Sith Thug has done to you?" Thesepunks can really mow you down! Oh, and they have nice loot too.]

To sum things up, dont expect JTL to resolve everything you've despised about the gamealthough if you pick it up you will notice that you'renot wasting nearly as much time trying to get around.

Have fun and may the force be with you.
