Thread: Idea for a new mob to fight...

I was reading the novel SW: Yoda - Dark Rendevous (a Clone Wars novel by Sean Stewart), and there was a scene early in the book between Count Dooku and Asajj Ventress. They're going on about her wanting to be his apprentice, and him saying no. In that scene, Dooku shows a species of insect native to Dantooine.
page 21:
"Behold: the sickle back mantis of Dantooine." A glowing picture formed in the air over the desk, a glossy red-and-black mantis, all hooked forelimbs and wicked piety. "After mating, the female tears her partner's head off and lays her eggs in his body. When the broodlings hatch, they eat their way out and then attack one another."
How cool would it be to find THIS on Dantooine? 
And instead of the same old lairs, their lairs could actually LOOK like a dead, headless sickle back mantis. The could probably base it on the klikniks, or whatever those mantis things are on Yavin 4. We need new species to fight. Maybe even a dungeon with these things in it

Oh, yeah, I'm definitely suggesting this for AFTER, lol. The devs have a hard enough time staying on task, I wouldn't want to be the one that causes them to lose track of the CURB

I think it would be great to add this species to our list of demons to kill on dant, but unfortunately I dont see sony adding anymore species to any of the current planets for our killing satisfaction. They have ther game and there happy with it. Aside from the occasional major revamp sony doesnt seem to want to screw to much with there product that is bringingin a ton of money as it is.
Theres alot from the EU that has made its way into our daily gaming and so much that hasn't. Like the oppurtunity to work for Talon Karde. Thats all EU but still has to follow these rules they have setup for JTL. So you cant just steal or "aquire" The Karde ship. I would highly suggest anyone that is on any board with swg to play the tabletop version of SW. There is so much more freedom and charechter exploitation possibilities that its really hard to re-acclimate one's self to a system that is perfedtly fine with having an all rodian party or all hu-mahn. Or just an all random species party that just kicks so much ass its retarded
If anyone would like to post a funny or otherwise enthertaining post about how and why the rodians stolechristmas and were forced to get along I will be happy to not only post it here on the forums but also on the website mainsite.
I am jus itching for someon to tell me go ahead on that part so maybe you could be my guinea pig ?????
