So for your character do you lean toward the Ranged/Melee Defense #rs or do you go for the Defense vs. stun, kd, dizzy, etc.?

I'm just curious on how the rest of the community feels about these 2 things for the defenses of your character and profession.

Well Melee and Ranged Defense are directed more toward combatants attacking you. Defense vs XXX is directed to status affects/conditions. If I had to choose which one is more important I would definately choose Ranged/Melee Defense for the main reason that they help you more. Say you had Defense vs Dizzy +125 and Ranged Defense +5... A Rifleman would be able to kill you with ease for it does not use dizzies to defeat its opponents. IMHO
