Thread: Stuck as an overt?

After doing the CC yesterday I hedaded back to Kor Valla and was stopped by a stormtrooper for investigation. I ran away and after that killed 2 more stortroopers. (I had to in order to get to the starport LOL).
Once back home in Lok i didnt see a TEF icon in my ham-bar but friends that traded with me inside our cantina got teffed just as if i where an overt.
Another friend deathblowed me so i could get rid of the "overt" status, but that didnt help...
Now how do I get rid of that Overt status?

That sucks, probably put in a ticket with CSR. What does your Charachter Screen say. Overt or Covert Rebel?

It says Declared.
I visited a rebel recruiter and said I wanted to become Overt again and now I will have to wait 1 hour to see if it helps...

Everytime I have come back from the 'vette, I have had to visita recruiter to return to covert status. So has anyone I know, everytime they go. Not sure if this is an intended feature, but this seems to be how it works.

I was the only one in the party that experienced this problem... It's back to covert now btw.

FWIW- you may not have been Overt when you came off the Corvette. If you had been those stormies would have been red dots and they would have attacked you, not scanned you. Sounds to me like they scanned and recognised you and made you overt, hence the fight you got into with them.
I had this happen when I was in Keren doing BH missions. Got scanned, the ST yells "Why I recognise this bio-signature, it's Col Lancilla!" Called out my rank, lol!
Anyway, I had to hop to Moenia after i killed them and request Covert status.

Now everytime I am stopped by a storie they attack me and make me overt. Before the stop it says OVERT in CTRL C
