Thread: Cannot get a Corvette ticket

I haven't gotten my own ticket for the Corvette before and I've been trying for a few weeks on and off now. I've read the guides on it and gone up on other peoples tickets before and also searched the forums for resolutions. I've tried to speak with all of the starting NPC's for the imperial ticket givers and all say that I am currently busy with something else. I've gone to other (non-corvette) NPC mission givers and taken their quest fine. I've also gone to all the waypoints where you loot the items for all three of the ticket givers and I am unable to search the crates at any of the locations. I have gone to the record keeper in eisley and successfully reset my info. I also went to the guy who resets the imp tp, just in case. After doing that I tried to speak with the 3 tickets givers and tried all of the loot spots again and no luck. I also tried going to the ticket collector guy who launches you but that didn't work either. Any suggestions on anything else I might try or should I just /bug this?

Do you have any other active missions? That is generally the problem when NPCs say you are busy with something else. Although with most NPCs they give you the option to give up the other mission.
You won't be able to search the crates etc as you need to talk to the mission givers first.

Yeah I figured that about searching the crates. I must have a mission open somehow but I dont know where. There is nothing listed in my datapad, and I can take missions from other NPC's just fine (they dont give the "Would you like to end your current mission to work for me" note). Also it doesn't seem to be a mission from any of the three people who give you tickets as they all give the, You're busy response.

Ok well if your imp or reb you can get 6 different types of tickets therefore there are 6 different guys you can talk to.
Neut missions there is 2 guys in jabbas palace and one in wayfar.
The missions for the vette tickets don't work the same way as missions from other npcs thats why your getting the busy from the ticket guys and not the other npcs.

Ok... Same thing happened to me and what that means is that you are in the middle of the Corvette quest for one of the guys. There is no way to get out of it without going back to the one you already started it with and talking to him again. Just go to each of the starting people one by one until you find the one that says something like: "So did you find that information for me yet?" And then you'll know which one you had started the quest with and you can go look for the ticket in the locations that are specific to that mission giver.
Remeber when searching that the info you're looking for can be in weird places like on bookshelves or desks. Sometimes you have to hold the mouse button until it says "Search" and search desks and things.
When this happened to me it turned out that I was working forCommander Crowley in Kor Vella and I found the info in the Rogue Corsec base on a desk down through the building in the middle and down several levels.
(edit: like the other guy said you have 6 possible guys you could be working for... 3 rebel and 3 neutral... make sure and check them all. You have a mission going with one of them for sure)

This happened to me too -
What others said is true - talk to the original quest start NPC and you will get the messages -
As a side note - I forgot what mine was and in the same spot you are in - I just gave up - until I said "wait a minute I bet I was trying to take a neutral mission - I cruised to Wayfar - talked to the NPC for that mission in the cantina and BOOM it gave me prompts to continue - abort - ect .... so keep trying !!!!

Hah! I did talk to the guy in Jabba's ages ago and forgot. I successfully cancelled the quest now. Thanks a ton!

cool - glad to help - I wonder next time they could put a mission in your data pad (hint hint to the devs)
