Thread: Fighting General Grievous [Warning]

Well I just got done fighting grievous and got my arse wooped, by a level 92 grievous along with 2 level 84 bodyguards.

Yeah me two...

First i went in solo ( that was just plain stupid lol)

Then i went in with a a full group and same result. He killed us like we were nothing to him.


Then i hear that to jedi knights can do without no problem. So I guess sony made this quest jedi only lol.

"We are not all jedi Sony!"



ahh well this dosnt help but it makes me feel better.


If anyone from corbantis wanna have a go with the Grievous quest iam ready to come.

Apparently, there are two 'power cells' that need to be destroyed either before you activate Greivous or during your fight with him.


For Jedi, the way to do it is to have one Master Defender using Avoid Incap on recursive macro while another Jedi feeds him force.


God knows how non-Jedi are supposed to do it.

When he said 'no you didnt' i think he meant, they arent lvl 84 and 82, they are 87 and 97



It takes practise to be able to solo, Necrosis, but it is definately worth it at the end of the day.

I would like to know your tactics for soloing Necrosis. Can you, oh great master, enlighten us neophytes, with your wisdom and advice?

lol, get masterdef and saber then have a go, use aura and infusion macros, and just slowly hit away.

hes hard, he can slay more than 1 person in 1 hit. (like a group slay attack?)


and last night somehow we double spawned him OOPS.

What saber specials did you use to kill him please?


And how did you avoid running out of force on the way there? The brain-beetles swarm something rotten and they're every five metres of the way.

Getting down is the easy part...I'm wondering how he survived the fight with necrosis. Our master defender was taking a serious beating and it took both me and him healing him (and infusion) just to keep him up, that was with aura and pikatta pie and about 5k health. Is there something we're missing?

Yeah, and I just finished the quest for the Death Star so the games over...


I'm Master Defender and Master LS. I was LOADED with food, muon, beverage, health crystal, maxed defense mod clothes. I had a 4xxx Jedi healing me while I was healing myself and keeping him armor broken, KDed, and head hit. There is no way you soloed him unless you are hiding inside a wall or something.


Edited* To say BTW I was in a group of 8 experienced players. We accomplished itas a group. No one can solo him.

we did it the first day out, well two of us made it to him. I was mdef (Auliga)and lasted awhile but my macro poo pooed and i got smoked. The other jedi ( malegant ) Very entertaining. We kiled the body gurads and blew up a power regulator. ( i didnt see another, but greivous SMOKED US. LOL cant wait to kill him tho.
