Thread: any one killed grevious yet?

HAHA thats funny, anyways I just made a poste about fighting grievous, he is the newest hard NPC of the game, but is well worth it as he always drops really good loot.

I soloed that quest. Was master defender master sabers 4004 healer and had to use a holocron after greivous went down. The trick is to pull greivous first before he is able to charge up too many times w/ power cores. You pull him all the way back down to the bottom by the bars so that he won't try and run away to the cores.
When i killed him he got up to around 50k ham. I've seen him charge up to over 60k though. You have to keep aura up and force infusion up the whole time and heal anytime your health gets below halfway. He sometimes spams attacks that even hit master defenders for a little over 1500 damage ( found out the hard way).
It took me 4 tries and some trial and error to kill him. You also need some luck, because if he decides to run after you've done alot of damage to him, you might as well throw in the towel because you won't have enough force to kill him and his guards in that 30 minute time frame.
His guards are a pushover though if you are master defender. The first time i tried the quest, i killed them w/ only slight difficulty as mpowers msabers and 4004 healer. Greivous killed me in 2 shots though after that of course. But as master defender w/ aura and infusion going, fighting them both at the same time, they were barely able to damage me.
Yea i'm pumped that i was able to solo that mission. Just did it a few hours ago as a matter of fact and was dying for an excuse to brag about it
