How does one transfer credits from one galaxy to another?
Is that even possible?
I've seen on the trade forums stuff like "My 15 mil on Bria for your 15 mil on Flurry" and such.
Is that even possible?

It's nota direct transfer...you both have to have chars on each server...you transfer credits to the person's character on one server, and s/he gives you money on the other server
