Thread: Looking for the GORAX..

My guild used to go on occasional hunts for these. They were easy to find in the northen desert on Endor. Now, we have not seen a single one in that region. Are they still spawning in that region or have they moved to someplace else on the planet?? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

A few buddies and I were killing those things pretty regularly the other night. On average it took us about 30 minutes to find one. As for location we were hunting in the northern Endor deserts as well, so keep looking. They're up there=)

There is an Ewok cave POI near the northern area on Endor. Junta maybe? Head to that POI and up the hill to the desert. I find Gorax there every time I have gone there. Takes between 5 and 20 minutes to find one.

I find that creating a simple targetting macro here helps cut down times to closer to 10-15min.
Something along the lines of:
/target gorax;
/macro TargetMacro;
Since the Gorax is simply 'Gorax' and not 'a gorax' nor 'The Gorax', this works wonders. Expand your radar out to 256m too (At least, that's what I do). And yes, anywhere in those desert highlands seems to be gorax territory. Try sweeping east-to-west.
Since you also mentioned you used to take your guild on these hunts, it might be worth noting the Gorax is only level 83 now. Easily soloable by decent templates.

You can simply turn oncon colours in your radar. The Gorax will be the only one in that area with a yellow circle (radar range to 250m) That way, you can also find marauders there (blue circle)

me and two other friends found at least 10 within 30 mins just riding on the 6000 latitude mark. ANd for the record, in case i messed up latitude i mean the East-West line.

gorax are not worth it anymore lol they made them wussys. they are level 83 and we took them down in like hmm 30 seconds. the spawn rates are messed up too.

Yes almighty decider of what is worthy for the rest of SWG participants to hunt. We will give up our hunt until you tell us to hunt again.
