You have to walk out of the cave to reset it, if you die in there you have to go reset it.

Bought this account on ebay how do I play

have you tried just running right through? For some reason when ever i go there now i don't need keys or codes, just run right on through all the doors

I died a few times and the problem was still there when I got back in the lab. I even tried to run through the door but it kicked me back.

reset it, go outside, and talk to all the npcs in turn again

I can't get passed the door that requiresthe keycard. To get that keycard I have to talk to two NPCs and take something from one to the other. I did that a few months ago and now I can't do it again because I get a message from the NPC that says "Thank you for your help... blah... blah... blah".

I also have some sort of key that says it opens the security doors in the Geonosian Lab. This doesn't work with the door though. The "Use keycard" option is disabled.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to reset the dungeon for my character or if there is a way to get passed that door??

I would die again without getting buffed ext ext. Just let it restart from fresh.
