Thread: Do Rodians run slower?

Ok, I've been playing this game for almost a year and I still can't be sure but it seems like my Rodian toon can't keep up when chasing and gets caught up to when kiting other PCs. I have Exploration IV so its not like I dont have running skills.
Is it true that Rodians are just slower?

I played a 
once and to be honest, was convinced they were faster. Was only for a day or so, but still.

I ask because I hunt Jedi and I'm often either chasing them or kiting them. And in each case it seems like the mark runs faster than (not burst running or Force running either) me when chasing and catches up to me when Im kiting them.

I know for a fact that my wookiee runs faster than shorter toons. I have caught up and passed other toons while running on flat land with no scout skills.

Also people with faster computers actually run faster. Their machines can render the scene faster so things aren't so chuggy. This can make a big difference in places like Coronet.

I'm a Rodian, and have always been one, and i definitly think Rodians run faster than some others.
and with my uber Ranger skills, i have caught up to force-running Jedi in the past. and boy was that jedi pissed when i caught up to him and dizzy knockdown him.

So does carrying many many items slow you down? I don't get it. I swear that I run slower than everybody else (and its not my computer or lag).
Perhaps there is some dice roll that didnt go my why when I created Aanu.

I've never noticed this myself, but this post brings back memories of our beta days back in '02.. my best friend was a twi'lek and I human, and he would always swim way faster than me..
they changed the code so everyone swims the same speed before release though

I do not think it is so much Rodians run slower and Wookies run faster, I believe it is a matter of the toon height. Rodians tend to be shorter and Wookies tend to be faster. You can notice a difference with humans as well and I have seen it is more based on height.
