I was just thinking today..

would the TEF system be a better system if Players didn't show up on the radar as blue/purple/red?

right now if you are TEFed anyone else can easily find you just by the red dot..

would it be a better system if you actually had to target the individual to find out if he was overt or tefed?

I think it would be more fun if you could sneak up on people, but you can always hide in houses to ambush them.

Absolutely! I remember playing UO for like 2 months and spending that entire time honing my camoflauge ability. I loved trying to evade the PK's by running far enough ahead of them and hitting the camoflauge button and disappearing then watching them look for me. I didnt play the game long enough to ever compete with those people in combatbut I did enjoy the being able to hide aspect of it. I would really like to have that option in this game.

This is a great idea unfortunately people would just use a 3rd party program that showed them where the other players were, giving them an unfair advantage.

So this will probably not be implemented.

that is true, it has been discussed before and some idiot would make a 3rd party program, and people would use it because they had a bad childhood, or got picked on when they were little or what ever excuse they use to justify cheating. I jsut stay away from pvp due to exploits and other stupid stuff people do to make it not a fun experience.
