It keeps giving me errors saying it is not permitted but i see it in other peoples sigs all the time?

HTML style tage were disabled a long time ago but people who already had them were able to keep them.

thanks man, jeez I guess soe just removes more and more from this game they just cannot stand to let us keep anything fun or worthwhile.

I wish they would add as much as they removed this game, then theymay be able to keep players for more than 6 weeks. I have a guild and i recruit many newbie players andmany that came fromother MMORPG'send up leaving the game for other MMORPG as they cannot stand the lack thereof in this game.

didnt they remove it because some people werre hacking into the swg website or sumthing?

They removed it because people were adding large picture graphics to their sigs.

Removing from the game? They removed it from this forum. This forum is not the game and is not run by the same group. The style and some other HTML tags were removed because people were abusing it, running large graphics, animated and large glowing letters. The style tag in of itself can be abused to add all kinds of HTML content to the sigs. It had nothing to do with SOE not wanting it, or players not wanting it, it had to do with the players proving they could not be trusted with it. THE EQ and EQ2 forums allow HTML in their sigs because the people there do not abuse it...yet.

It's just a sig, these are just forums. If you get mad at a game because of the forums, then you really didn't like the game in the first place. New players in your guild that quit the game are leaving for reasons other than that they can't use the style tag in their sigs in the forums.
