Um, cant believe no posts are here dealing with the new jedi quests. So, any starter tips, for those of us that haven't unlocked? Publish 9 is out, and I am staring blankly at my screen, would like to start on the long path of unlocking.

So ami to understand that in order to level, you go to a trainer, get a quest, go up to space, finish the quest, then come back down to the trainer, get the next mission, go up, and repeat?
Sounds like there is a lot of loading time....is this how it is or is there a mroe efficient way to do it?

sorry about more posts, but also what is the requirement for the master mission? i've heard it's a real ball buster and was just wondering why it's so hard?

the quests are set up as a coherent story line
the beginner quests have to mostly be done before you are trained for the first time.
you must complete an entire tier (1111 then 2222 etc ) before you can progess to the next teir
the missions can be
destroy (grind missions)
escorts (protect)
patrols (if you see it ... kill it)
rescue (dock to repair)
capture (disable)
that is the basic mission types so far
as for the master mission - it is most difficult:
it must be done against ships that voilates the maximum build limits on player crafts
ie: they turn instantly (so far) and they are faster normally then you on boosters(so far) (the ai may change yet)
it is done in a pvp zone
and it must be done all at once or not at all.

I was playing EQ2 and someone posted a webpage with all the quests and rewards for the game... Does someone have something similar to SWG? I would like to start collecting again and would be interested in knowing what quests are what. THanks.

You are playing the wrong game. SERIOUSLY. There are 2 planets where the quests work (they were changed like 6 months ago), Tatooine and Dantooine. Other planets are barely even worth talking to NPCs at. IF, and that's a big IF, you are able to make out what they are saying, you still need to go to xyz waypoint, and if anything is there, talk to the NPC, which most often is bugged.
Sorry.
You can try this:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=game_guides&message.id=67615
But honestly, there is so much stuff still broken from the BETA, 18 MONTHS AGO or so, so I gave up all hope. Personally, I think the Devs hope that everyone does!
Love those cdef pistol loots! Yeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhaaaaaaa!

Hmm....
I was kinda looking at a format of
Quest Name - Starting City - Quest Reward
I mean after a year and a half of SWG, you would have thought there would be a better website for this.
