i did the patrol quests and trained novice combat prow. all my branches look open and the yellow bars fill up on them and all turn green after i grind for a while. When i goto train the trainer says i'm quallified for all 4 level 1 skills in this proff but will ONLY let me train ranged acc. I'm a TKM lol. i don't need ranged acc. do they just let u unlock one tree at random. who out there has acually trained a skill box past novice combat prow who can answer this?

but why was it ranged acc? i can handle getting only one branch per cycle. but can't we pick which ones?

I believe the branch you fill depends on which NPC you do the quest for. If you started the quest for ranged accuracy, then your locked into that quest until the next phase. Doing a quest for a different NPC would have given you skills in one of the other three brances.

Short Answer for you - sorry you're screwed.

This is a list of the Branches and when they are available for training. You must do the quest to open the branch. There is a list of the quest givers on the jedi forum board.

Ranged Accuracy
Survival
Persuasion
Crafting - Assembly

PHASE 2
Melee Speed
Vehicular Control
Luck
Crafting - Techniques

PHASE 3
Melee Accuracy
Ranged Defense
Surveying
Crafting - Experimentation

PHASE 4
Melee Defense
Ranged Speed
Healing
Crafting - Repair
