Thread: Bounty Hunter and Pistoleer, or Bounty Hunter and Rifleman

Hi, this is my first post here, but I've been playing galaxies for about 3 months now. Im into bounty hunter, and Im wondering what else I should get into. I've broken it down between pistoleer and rifleman. I've heard really good things about both, like pistoleer has the awesome geo pistol, great defenses, and rifleman has great defenses, special attacks, and long range goodness. I want to be really good in PvP, but I also want to be able to handle myself well in PvE. So if someone could give me some advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

The fact that your a BH will mean you will suck in PvP no matter what. Trust me, Im talking from a year of experience. I hate to make it sound so cut and dry, but BH is probably the worst profession to pvp with. If you pick up pistoleer, you will stand a chance though, cause your accuracy and speed will be through the roof.

Also, I didnt mean that you, specifically suck, just that overall, BH is a really weak profession. Didnt mean to offend ya. Im a BH too, and ill be the first to admit it sucks.

Alot of BH/Pistoleers are reporting some positive outcomes from battles with Jedi. i'm thinking of going that way myself. I always did fancy them pistols. But to each his own.

BH/Pistoleer is what I am right now on kettemoor. I was fighting a "DVS One" Jedi the other day...I had his mind down half way, I was kiting him, but...I'm not about to stay and fight when he's got a light saber...Anyway...It all depends on whether or not you're using the right weapons.
Tk's are pistoleer fodder easily. A person wearing kinetic armor will fall almost instantly to you if you've a geoblaster or a decent tangle pistol. It all depends on the strategy of the weapons.

The Pistol branch of Smuggler is a nice addition to BH/Pistoleer.
