Looking through the boards, to unlock Padawan, it looks like

1) I need to get 6 trees in whichever FS skills I like

2) I can only unlock 1 tree per phase of the village

3) Each phase lasts 3 weeks

Have I got this right?

If so, that means a minimum of 12 weeks and a day to unlock (assuming I unlock my fist tree just before a change of phase).

12 weeks play time is at least 2, possibly 3 payment cycles.

The cynic in me can't help but feeling that SOE did this to effectively charge people for FS / Jedi characters.

I'm still hoping some clown will decide that they need to reduce the time between phases though.
