Thread: New Force Sensitive Skills after unlocking Jedi?

I went in to Aurillia yesterday with every intention of unlocking the Persuasion tree. After getting my holocredit, I walked over to do the Persuasion quest and found that I have to be at least a Master Medic to do it. The thought of scraping out Medic again and then trying to catch up and buy all of the Persuasion skills just made me so very sad and I gave up and went with Ranged Accuracy.

I'm a TKM and Master ID. I really have no purpose for Ranged Accuracy. I just picked it because I couldn't do the crafter quest and a Survival Bonus really really didn't interest me. Though the more I think on that maybe I should've gone with that instead.

In the end, though, I really regret not getting my Persuasion tree. I have no idea what it's supposed to do, but it seems much more interesting. I know I can't get it changed now, but here's my question:

If I complete six trees, and take the Padawan Trials, and I'm feeling really masochistic, can I come back in 12 weeks when Phase 1 is around again, buy up the Persuasion tree, and drop this silly silly Ranged Accuracy thing? So long as I have six skill trees, does it matter?

I have submitted a CSR ticket that asks just that question. "Will we be able to as Initiates or higher to surrender FS skill branches in favour of others? Or will we be screwed because of your poor quest reward system where you HAVE to use an out of game spoiler site in order to plan your branch selections."

Hopefully I will get an answer I can use soon, they already tried to let me take two cut and paste replies as answers.

I hate those cut and paste answers. I can accept if darn it, the system is just so new that they don't yet know and they'll have to check on it and get back to me, and they tell me that. But cut and paste and then "this issue is closed" is frustrating, usually because when I get that, the answer isn't to a question I really asked.

But there are good CSR's, too. There are ones that rescue my furniture from my bank and give me my Mark of Altruism. Not bashing CSR's, just the "cut and paste" thing.
