Anybody know what happens if someone else kills your Sith ambush?

Asa newer playerI was worried at first because someone had killed my Sith and my quest journal had updated to the kill and search the Sith who ambushed you. I logged out and it cleared any reference to the Sith ambush and within 5 minutes they (the Sith)were back. As to the ease of killing the Sith, I only had out an FWG5 and had killed both of them in the amount of time it took me to close my item and backapck screen. I am a Master Commando working back up the Smuggler tree, soI had no real advantage with that pistol.
