I got the quests from captain and I keep going to the waypoints and going to every one and killing only groups of 2 or 1 , but he tells me incomplete every freaking time whats up!?

groups of 3, 2 or 1...basicly the only one you dont kill is the mob....the system even says its a raiding party. THATS the one you dont kill

I dont, and ive done it 5 times and it fails me every time, just the 1 2 and 3 groups!

Maybe your datapad is full, there should be 8 waypoints he gives you.

Ive done this over and over, successfully, I did the 10, he never gave me any loot - in fact my crystal says "extra 2/10" so I guess I succeeded 11 times already- does it ever end?

Yes, you get the reward after getting the extra 10/10
The first patrol was fun, second sure, but then it just got really boring.
Driving around to 160 WP:s *sigh*

Ahh ok, thanks for the response - maybe I'll head back once the schoolkids go to bed

You get th reward after doing 20 patrol missions.. and the more you do, the further out they go, ths taking longer. Its a real boring time sink, IMO.. but I got the banner.

Same here, I've done the missions 6 times just like it's supposed to and a fail each time. I've confirmed the method with a number of people (3 or less) but no cigar. What the ****!

Do'h!!! Never mind... find out what the problem was. I had 95/100 Capacity on my datapad. Therefore when he populates 8 up only 5 register. Since I didn't have the other three it would register as a failure. Remember to check your Datapad capacity because the system won't warn you.
