Thread: Crimson TIE Badge

I completed the Crimson TIE Fighter quest before Publish 19. Like most others I received the TIE deed but received the wrong Badge for it ( received the Heavy X-Wing ). According to the Publish 19 notes anyone who has already finished the quest needs only to talk to the station to receive the correct Badge. I went to the Imperial Station in Kash Space, the same one that gives you the TIE, and the only conversation options are to take Duty Missions or to declare myself Overt. I tried taking the Duty Missions and Declaring myself Overt and talking to the station again and nothing happened Badge-wise. I also tried talking to the Kash Space Station. Again nothing. I have also assissted someone with their quest, and they succeeded, in the hopes something would happen. Nothing for me. Does anyone know how to get this badge?

They said they fixed it but it's not true.
I tried the same thing as you did and no luck either. I have been tainted by the presence of this Reb badge for far too long. Dunno if you get the right badge by passing it now, but that won't help me much.

You do get the correct badge now. The person I helped did. But like you said that doesn't help us much.

I read in the patch notes for Pub 19 that this was fixed and you just had to talk to the Imperial Station again to get the correct badge. I went to both the Imp staion and Imp outpost in Kash space and all they did was offer me duty missions or declare faction. I still have the heavy X wing badge. Am I missing something?

Yeah, a sense of distrust and cynicism over any mention of a "fix" uttered in release notes. :/

Im a Imp on ground but privateer pilot. The station offers me the quest for the royal guard tie and says Ill be able use it. Since I dont see a cert for it as privateer Im assuming this is just the quest system being confused and I wont infact be able fly it?

i know there's a bunch of these made already, but the best way to get a response is to start a new one.
have they even acknowledged the fact that talking to the station doesn't fix anything yet? is it being worked on? do they know their patch to fix it did nothing?
