I inadvertently selected the wrong mark on the intellect portion of the quest. The BH now says that I had my chance. Do I need to wait for the server to reset or is there something else I need to do. I have gone to him Tues night and Wednesday night and he is in the same spot.

You have to wait for the server to reset, or someone else to complete it succesfully.

Bothcases willcausea respawn and you can try again.

An even better way is to seek where the other locations of the bounty Hunter is...
