Guide to the 4 Noob badges in Mos Eisley -
There are now 4 working badges that anyone can obtain.
The ONE condition is that if you are a full template anything, you will need to drop something to free up 15 skill points.
To start out you need -
- 15 skill points free
- general crafting toolkit
- 167 units steel
- 14bone and19 hide
- about1000 credits for learning and travel
To begin talk to Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt at 3436, -4720
he will ask you "Teach me more about my Skills" You need to click on each of the 5 novice professions to receive 5 waypoints
These WPS are not to trainers..but to other NPCs..the actual trainers are close by though
He sends you to -
- Marksman (Purvis Arroson) 3512, -4764
- Entertainer (Anetia Kah'ryn) WRONG WP given by Mayor (he gives wp to front door instead)...go to 3436, -4845
- Scout (Entha Kandela) 3511, -4785
- Artisan (Alduq Besene) 3513, -4814
- Brawler (Combat Guild Hall) WRONG WP given by Mayor (he gives wp to front door instead)......go to Peawp R'dawc at 3436 -4660
Marksman - You do NOT need to be a novice marksman.In fact a full template Jedi can do this.
- talk to Purvis he sends you to kill Tusken Zealots.
- You have to go back 3 times to kill a total of 25 zealots - 5, 10, then 10
- Finish this and return to Purvis.
- Talk to Mayor -> Get the Badge "Mos Eisley Mystery"
Entertainer -
first train in novice Entertainer..then talk to Anetia...she sends you on a pretty cool quest here
- Go to Anchorhead Cantina - dance 5 mins, then talk to Borra Setas
- Go to Bestine Hotel - dance 5 mins, then talk to Crix Yarrow
- Go to Mos Espa Cantina - dance 5 mins, then talk to Dorn Gestros
- Return to Anetia
- Go to Dance House in Mos Eisley - dance for 10 mins, 2 pop-up screens will appear over the 10 mins..you need to click "OK"
- Return to Anetia
- Talk to Mayor -> Get the badge "Secrets of Mos Eisley"
Scout -
First train in Scout...then talk to Ethna Kandela * Bring a General Crafting Kit, 14 unitsbone and 19 unitshide

- Kill 5 Womp Rats
- Kill 10 Kreetles
- Build 3 traps
- Kill 3 Rills (supposed to use traps..but I didnt and still got credit)
- Build 1 basic tent
Artisan -
First train in Artisan...then talk to Alduq Besene * Bring General Crafting tool kit & 167 units steel
- make 7 tool kits- Solar, Chemical, Flora, Gas, Mineral, Water, & Wind
Brawler -
First train in Brawler...then talk to Peawp R'dawc (This is actually a really cool chain too)

- Go to Lucky Despot..after talking to the NPC/Otwi Opawl..WAIT for the Thug to spawn..dont run away..talk to NPC again
- Return to Peawp
- Go to edge of Mos Eisleyto Escort Walter Orvett to Starport.
- DONT stray more than 30 or so meters away..otherwise you could fail
- there will be 2 ambushes on the way
- talk toWalter when done at the starport
- Return to Peawp
- Go to the Harvesters for a shorter escort. Escort Tobo to Harvesters
- Wait there for 2 sets of spawns
- Escort Tobo away..then talk to him again to see if he is safe
- Return to Peawp
All MOBS are level 1-2 during the whole thing...the only problem I had was being a full template Jedi ..I had to drop 22 Jedi points to do this stuff...only to have a BH come and visit me during a brawler escort quest!
DONE with the professions...talk to mayor 1 more time and get badges "Key to the City" and "Mos Eisley Enigma"
BUGS Found - sometimes the Mayor doesnt give out the Badge "Secrets of Mos Eisley" after you complete the Entertainment chain, I had to also complete the Artisan quest and then talk to the mayor again as well to get this badge. Also the WP to Anetia doesn't autodelete itself
The Mayor then sends you to Bestine for a chain of 3 more quests...but there is no badge for doing those.

Good guide, but I think I've run into a bug. After I finished the entertainer mission, I returned to the mayor, but did not get the badge. I checked my journal and I have 2 copys of the quest in it. One is marked complete, the other is stuck on a step I've already done. (hence unable to do it again)
Any ideas?

yea...try talking to the mayor a couple of times...also try logging off/ on
Also finish up all 5 novice profs...(You shouldnt need to..as you should be able to get that badge right away) but might want to give it a try

Ive heard that talking to the mayor gets yo uthe badges...Although I dont know for sure..I just did them post-fix

I did them all pre pub 21 and he just keeps giving me the quests oever and over. When I talk to the NPCs that you work for they just say, "thanks but you are done".
Its still bugged.

i think it still bugged. i just did it on 8/11 and the mayor keeps asking me to choose what profesion i want ot leaarn about and i did all 5.
