Thread: Race Circuits evaluation
Corellia... Great race!! lots of fun. There are a few hair pins that can catch you off guard. Racing line can make a big difference going around trees and such.
Tatooine... Another great race. Very open... out right speed is the key here. I think an AV is the vehicle of choice as you can cut corners over the rougher terrain with ease in one. There are some houses in the way but that is easily over come once you know were they are and can plan ahead for them.
Naboo... IMHO... This is the most rediculous thing I have ever seen in my entire life!! Yes a race on tarmac is much more technical then dirt... how ever... the race on naboo should be closed. just too much lag and stuff to get stuck on. I rarely have lag... but i did in that race... it sucks to be blunt.. no fun what so ever.
Well like I said just my opinion on things, I cant wait to get more races. I really hope they move the naboob race to a more open course...

I run a P4 2.84mhz - 1 GB ram - cable modem - ATI 9700 pro 128mb video card
Absolutely no lag whatsoever.

I enjoyed em all. Can't wait for more to come out. I'd love to see a nice long one on Lok.
Publish 10 has 3 new race courses. There is a street course, similar to Keren, in Narmle on Rori. There is a longer course, like Mos Espa circuit, that runs along the rivers of the Nashal area on Talus. Finally, there is the Lok marathon course that starts in Nym's Stronghold and runs all the way to the volcano and back (with a visit to the maze I've heard).
Wear your armor for the Narmle course because you will be shot at by the local thugs. This course only takes a few minutes to complete.
The Nashal course features waypoint names that reference a number of familiar personalities from the forums. This course takes around 10 minutes to complete.
The Lok course (the only one I haven't tried yet) can be very dangerous. The other night somebody got attacked by a kimogila while riding it. This one takes over 20 minutes to complete.
Hopefully at least one of these courses will be released along with publish 10 and the others trickled out with the mini-publishes.

the races take absolute no skill at all...
to have the fastest time all day just do it at server restart and just go thought it without any majormess up before anyone else comes along
It takes skill to be good at them, not to get the badges.
