I wanted to know if there are any armor buying guides? I tried to find a search opition on these boards but didn't see one. Anyway I need some good marksman noob armor and was wondering what to look for when buying?

depends what your planning on fighting mate.
generally if your fighting creatures you want good kinetic resistance

go the the armorsmith forum and read the armorsmith guide stickied at the top of the forum. It goes into great detail describing the armors, what they protect against, and if your bored, how to make them.

If you're new to the game and strapped for cash you can usually get a good deal off of the bazaar. Novice Armorsmiths usually place some merchandise there to make a little bit of cash from the expense of making all of the armor to finally get to Master. Some people sell their used armor also (but be sure to look carefully at the condition)
Bone armor or Chitin is a good starting armor. I always liked Chitin when I started out. Ubese will also be on the bazaar and is another good armor. Be sure to check the stats to see what will work the best for you for your price. And also check the condition. Once again, you don't want to buy some guys used and broken armor.
