Godofchuck did everyone a good turn by posting a nice summary of the new quests available on Tatooine and Dantooine.
But one thing he posted that piqued my interest was this:
Victor Visalis
Sean Trenwell
Lilas Dinhint
- Imperial Banner OR Badge - "Loyalist"
- special (get evidence)
- special (get evidence)
Sean Trenwell
- Ornate Rug OR Decorative Statue, Painting (when in office)
- special (get evidence)
- special (get evidence)
- special (delivery/search) (when in office)
Lilas Dinhint
-Painting Schematic for sale
- special (talk to three NPCs)
So now, like all good pack rats and interior decorators are, I'm wondering to myself, "What are these specials? How do I get this evidence? Or is the evidence something I've already done by casting my vote in the election? Is there a difference between the Paint Schematic for sale that Strikke already mentioned and the "special" that you get from talking to three NPCs?
And lastly, someone mentioned somewhere in the bowels of the game guide forum that there was a Sean Trenwell quest that related to an escape pod or some such thing crashed out in the dunes somewhere. Does anyone have more information on that? Or is it related to these "specials" that are mentioned?

The crash site is just outside of Bestine near the Morajj Memorial flag. I think it's just an opportunity to 'gather evidence' to turn into the governor to enable you to vote.

A new quest opens up at the Crash site if Sean wins the election. That quest nets you a painting of a moon/sunrise.
It was stated these quests take 1 month to complete (The election), so we gotta wait another 2 weeks for it to complete, just make sure you vote by then, and hope it's for the winner.
The Museum election thing should be done by tomorrow, apparently you can only buy a painting schematic of the winning artist, costs 40K. I was hoping you'd just get the painting but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The Victor and Sean votes are not tallied until one Month after the election started. After the one month, who ever has the most votes wins, and if you voted for that person, you can receive your reward. I assume you will receive a e-mail when the election is over. The one month notice was said by TH in this thread:

The elections over, victor won on Tempest. I got the banner (big woop, i'm a rebel, much rather have the badge), and victor's quest sent me to fort tusken. he wants something killed and evidence brought backbut he really doesn't say what, just some superchief but he won't name it. I'm thinking executioner or witchdoctor ... but so far nothing.

Its the Executioner he wants. Reward for bringing him the tusken head is the Lithatanium Rifle. Aparantly use to be kinetic damage but is now alight ap, energy damage 5.5 speed 350 damage tusken rifle
Somewhat a downer of areward for killing what is likely the strongest mob in the game.. even Min and the Gorax aren't that much trouble to kill.

Thanks for the clarification, i was out there for a full buff the other day and didn't see one. Head out to the squill cave and got 2 observers and an executioner!I think they were lost ...
Oh and thank for the one star, someone feeling a little moody today?

The one stars were probably for necro posting. Searching the archives is great and all, but dredging up 7 month old posts is generally considered poor form.
