Thread: Easy Question...Lost my waypoints box

Hi,
For some reason My onscreen box of waypoints has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back. I know I can go to ctrl-V and bring up the map for waypoints but I want the one that always appears on the right side that shows the waypoint direction and distance.

this is in the holocron - help section - i just found it for me

That still doesn't bring that box back?
I even exited the game completely

It might be that it went up because of the UI bug that appeared recently (the WP box going up up and... away
). Can you try adding a lot of active waypoints to your datapad to see if that will bring the lower part of it back on screen?Message Edited by riotcontrol on 06-04-2005 05:54 AM

There's also an checkbox for the "onscreen waypoint monitor" in the options -> misc. Maybe that got unchecked?

ok what do is go to your starwars galaxies install folder and go in to profiles. save ur macro.txt and notes.txt then delete ur profiles folder. then reload game. once everything is sorted put ur files back in that way ur only really losing ur keymap and not all ur macros.

I went programfiles/sony/swg but I couldn't find it in there? Is that the right folder?

The fix for the lost waypoint monitor that worked for me was:
1. make sure that On Screen Waypoint monitor in Options->Misc is checked
2. Go to Options->Interface and press "Reset Defaults"
3. If that does not fix it, go to Options-> Misc and press "Reset Defaults"
This way will not make you loose toolbar setup.
